Tsarevo is located on the southern Black Sea coast, 60 km to the south from the town of Burgas, among three picturesque bays. The place boasts a unique combination of numerous romantic bays along the Black Seaside, wooded mountain slopes and the tranquil waters of the Cherna River.

The unique combination of sea, mountains and river, the exotic vegetation and rich variety of animal and plant species, together with the traditions and the authentic culture and customs of Starndzha, provide varied opportunities for tourism.

The biggest natural park in the country is here – “Strandzha” – with a number of natural sights and protected areas. Only here at the foot of Strandzha there have been preserved unique pagan customs – The Nestinari fire dances. The Nestinari custom is a unique phenomenon, which is not only spectacular – walking bare footed on glowing ember, it is also an old priest custom dating back to antiquity. The Nestinari are rendered into a condition, similar to trance and dance to the harmonious accompaniment of drums and bagpipes.
